The Climate Change Coalition is thrilled to announce a new food scrap drop spot at the Jacksonport Farmers Market! Thanks to a partnership with the Village of Egg Harbor and a generous grant from the USDA, we’re now accepting compost!

Every bit counts in our food waste diversion efforts and now you can join the movement right here at the Farmers Market. With the help of our local partner, Going Garbage, any compost collected will be transferred to the Village of Egg Harbor compost site. 🔄

Here’s how you can get involved:
🥕 Bring your own bucket and fill it up with compostable goodies
💚 Don’t have a bucket? No problem! Get one from DCCI for a $25 donation
🌟 Drop off food waste at the Jacksonport Farmers Market or one of our other DCCI sites and feel good knowing you’re making a difference!
